Seeing Through Spiritual Eyes

As a Christian I have been saved. Not my physical body because it will perish one day, but my soul which is eternal. (1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.)
If this is the case shouldn't I as a Christian be more concerned with the eternal things rather than the things that will perish?
So then logically shouldn't I look at people not by how they look on the outside, how they might smell, what their life style might be like, what laws they may have broken, where they come from, all the things that will one day perish, but by their soul, the soul that Jesus died for?
Exd 34:29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.
How would this world change if I spent enough private time with God that it had a profound physical effect that others noticed? Not only altering how I see others, but how they see me.
